Products were frequently triple-wrapped in plastic—bags within bags within even more bags—simply for cost efficiency and ease of handling.

I found it frustrating and deeply unnecessary. These companies showed little concern for the environmental impact of their practices.

After researching the UK’s plastic packaging tax, I quickly realised that this legislation wasn’t enough to drive meaningful change within large businesses. It became clear that if I wanted to make a difference, I’d have to do it myself.

That’s how Planet Made was born.
